Boy oh boy, the break in the humidity was much welcome as well as much needed. You’d think if funny that one aspect of a day could make such a difference but when compounded over a couple of weeks, it does and it did. I’d never spoken to so many people that commented on the inability to think much less do what they normally didwith the same intensity.
Life and yoga are one in the same. Both are organic and require flexibility. Both ask for attention and mindfulness. Both entertain will and willingness. When these elements are not put into question we become chaotically out of balance or broken.
It’s important to constantly practice (not only during these times of high activity, intense environmental shifts and seasonal transitions) taking the time to pause, seeing where we’re at presently, acknowledging where we are feeling stubborn or stuck, and proceeding with the willingness to allow for a change in the flight plan. This affords us the means to feel our path with grace rather than to feel pushed by ourselves in an endless race.
We constantly feel grateful for the variety of classes and community of voices that we have gathered here. There is so much potential in our diversity! Our commitment is to be curious, to be present and to remain steady while flowing willingfully with the energy and needs of our community.
We encourage you to practice shifting your gears even if you feel like everything is hunky dory. When we can ride the wave rather than clutch onto the magic ball, we open ourselves up to limitless possibility!
We look forward to practicing possibility with you!
With Love,
Your Friends at TYC
