Diane has been practicing Kripalu Yoga since 2002. She developed a meditation practice in the early 1990’s while working as a phlebotomist in a busy Massachusetts hospital as a way to find ease and stillness in a fast paced day. Diane is a 500 Hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher and is pursuing her 1000 Hour Kripalu Certification. She is also certified in Yin Yoga. Her classes are designed to develop connection of body, mind and spirit and to awaken compassion and non judgmental awareness. You will be guided to listen to your body’s own inner wisdom. She provides a safe and supportive environment in which to build and strengthen your practice of yoga. Her goal in teaching Kripalu Yoga is to empower students to reach their full potential and to connect to joy, which is our true nature. Her advanced trainings include Teaching Yoga for Special Populations (Chair Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Ayurveda, Restorative Yoga, Yoga In The Schools, Integrated Positional Therapy), Meditation, Pranayama, Advanced Asana and Vinyasa. Diane has a deep love of the ocean and in her free time you may find her swimming or searching for sea glass and rocks.
